Maria Edilma Lopez, age 80, daughter of Jose and Carla Marles Lopez, who was born, January 14, 1937 in Cali, Colombia passed away October 18, 2017 at Brookdale Atrium Way Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida.

Maria was a strong woman of God. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to take care of her flowers and her favorite flowers were Geraniums. She loved to sew and make different articles of clothing or even pillow cases for everyone's couches. She used to say that "A clean house is where God likes to roam." She also loved collecting cow figurines and keep them all over her house. She made sure to always look her best no matter where she went.

She is survived by her three children, Lizana Trochez, Carlos Lopez and Hector Lopez. Along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for a Visitation 12 noon, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 1 PM Thursday October 26, 2017 in Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Moises Gonzales officiating.
