Born in Puerto Rico, Ms. Traina lived in New York before ma king her home in Jacksonville, Florida. While once working for the famed William F. Buckley, Jr., at the National Review , Ms. Traina made a name for herself in the local Jacksonville financial services industry.

Ms. Traina was very active in her church and strong in her faith. She never shied away from the opportunity and/or often created an opportunity to meet the needs of others. A stranger to no one, Ms. Traina personified true Servant Leadership , a constant example of kindness and hospitality.

Ms. Traina is surv ive d by her four siblings: M. Gloria McGroarty (Patrick McGroarty); M. Dolores Carranza (Gerald Carranza); M. Isabel Bartilucci and Luis A. Cabrera (Anita Cabrera) and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces , great- nephews and friends .
