Marie Annetta Martin of St. Augustine, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018.  She was 69 years old. Marie was born on June 7, 1949 in Salisbury, Maryland to John C. Martin, Jr. and Ruthie May (Truitt) Martin.

Marie was a person with disabilities and lived in group homes all her life. She was loved by all who encountered her.  She brought much joy to her immediate family over her life time and we will cherish our memories of her.

Marie is survived by her father John C. Martin Jr, sisters Ruthie M. Sharp (Dan), Patricia A. McCormick, (Ted) and Sharron L. Martin.  Four nephews and two nieces, six grand nephews and one grand niece.

Marie is predeceased by her mother, Ruthie M. (Truitt) Martin and younger brother John C.  Martin III.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 31st at the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida. Rev. Dr. Robert Morris will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28th at the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. Marie's family will be greeting guests from 6-7:30 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Arlington Park Funeral Home (904) 724-6384.
