Obituary of Marie McLeod

Marie M. McLeod, 88, passed away on June 21, 2014. She was born on February 28, 1926 in Chuelota, Florida. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Marie was a devoted member of Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church for at least 33 years, working as the church librarian for many years. Marie worked for Prudential for 17 years, although, her favorite career was being a mother.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Wakefield Wills, and James "Jimmy" Wills. She is survived by her husband of 33 beautiful years, William Neal McLeod; children, Bobby (Sunnie) Wills and Marsha M. Wills; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren with one more on the way; sister Cecil Arndt and numerous step children, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held TODAY, June 24, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church, 4000 Kernan Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32224, at 3:00 PM with interment to follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
