Obituary of Marie Thrun
Marie K. Thrun 99, passed away July 10, 2010 at River Garden Nursing Home in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1930 and was proud to become a U.S. Citizen. Most of her life was spent in Illinois as a housewife raising her family. She moved to Orlando, FL. In 1952. She drove a school bus in Oviedo, FL for one year, then changed to drive a school bus for Orange County for 11 years she was admired by many of her students and she helped those in need. She lived in Union Park for 46 years with her husband Everett who passed away 22 years earlier. She moved to Jacksonville, FL and lived with her daughter and son-in-law for her remaining years. She will be missed dearly and remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her four daughters Margaret (William) Monteith, Jacksonville, FL., Loretta Sommers, Lake Geneva, WI., Helen Radloff, Lake Geneva, WI., Mariann Krumweide, Wautoma, WI.; Grandchildren Steven Sommers, Joni Sommers, Lisa Trombino, Jeremy Radloff, Leslie Gilbertson, Paul Krumwiede, Eric Krumwiede and Shawn Krumwiede; nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Her final resting place will be at St. Lukes Cemetery in Oviedo, FL.
