Obituary

Marilyn Stone Feinberg died of natural causes at the age of 85 on April 13, 2021 at her home in Jacksonville. She was a Neonatal ICU nurse at
Baptist Hospital for more than twenty years. A widow, she is survived by her children, Debbie Mitchell and James Stone III, grandchildren Dee Ann Mitchell, Jamie Wagner, and John Michel Mitchell, and eight great- grandchildren.

Marilyn's life was filled with family love from childhood until death. She was Big Sister to her brother Larry, care-giver for both parents at their end, the beloved wife of James E. Stone Jr. for 46 years, and a loving wife to Herb Feinberg. She was "Mom" to 2 children, Debbie and Jim and "Grandmama" to three grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was a valued employee of Blue Cross, and Baptist Hospital, where she was a Neonatal ICU Nurse for 20 years. Marilyn will be remembered by 3 generations as a kind and generous woman who lived life to its fullest measure.

Funeral services are at Arlington Park Funeral Home on Monday, April 19, with the viewing from 10-1, followed by the service and a brief gathering in the adjacent cemetery, weather permitting.
