Marion E. White, age 70 of Jacksonville Florida, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, after a brief illness, surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was born in Watertown, N.Y. to John Towsley and Marjorie Loomis Towsley. Ms. White worked at Tallatoona Headstart for 20 years driving a bus and loved working with the children. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. White was a resident of Rockmart and Cedartown Georgia until moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Henry W. White on February 27, 2014, and two brothers Daniel Towsley, Willie Towsley, a sister Elaine White and an infant sister, infant grandbaby and great grandbaby.
Ms. White was survived by her children: Lois Burnley(Johnny) Jacksonville Florida, Henry White Jr.(Wendy) Cedartown Georgia, Nancy Wallner(Robert) Jacksonville Florida, Debbie Greene(Bill) Colorado. 15 grandchildren: Ashley Lawley, Brittany Burnley(David), Johnathan Burnley, Elizabeth Burnley, Joseph Burnley(Amber), Lil Henry White(Macie), Philip White, Christopher White, Andrew Wallner(Emily), Daniel Wallner, Melissa Sawyer(Billy), John Wright, Robert Wright, Kimmy Wright, Jaylee Franklin. And 3 great grandchildren: Lawson, Paisley, and Zoeiy. Four sisters: Doris Combs (Keith) Watertown N.Y., Dorthy Combs (Larry) Watertown, N.Y., Carol Hubbard (Eli) Watertown N.Y. and several nieces and nephews.
Her grandchildren and son in law and nephew will serve as pallbearers: Joseph Burnley, Lil Henry White, Philip White, Christopher White, Andrew Wallner, Daniel Wallner, Robert Wallner, and Chris Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the granddaughters and great grandchildren Elizabeth Burnley, Ashley Lawley, Paisley, and Zoeiy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Arlington Park Funeral Home.
