Obituary of Mariquita Profitt

Mariquita Profitt born July 13, 1939 to James and Carrie Williams in St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Febuary 14, 2015 in Jacksonville. She is survived by her sister Jennette McKibben, brother John Williams, daughter Martha Tenpenny, son & daughter-in-law Kenneth & Janie Richards, grandchildren, JD Biggs, Jamie Davis, Christopher & Hellen Richards, great-grandchildren Joshua, Marcus, DJ, Alex and Olivia. Mom was a strong passionate women, working as a registered nurse for 30 years, then going into the Automotive and Marine upholstery business for 25 years in Nashville, Tennessee then moving to Crystal River, Florida in 1991. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Dunnellon, Florida, doing activities with friends and the community. She loved to make costumes for herself and others, for the activities such as club meetings, ringing the bell for the collection pot at Christmas, and the local parades. She enjoyed making quilts for family and friends. She will be truely missed.

Services will be held at Englewood Christian Church on Barnes Road. Visitation at 12 noon and the services at 1pm, Friday Febuary 27th, 2015, by Pastor Ken Gemeinhart.
