Marjorie Ann Gatewood, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Thursday January 2, 2020.  She was 88 years old. Marjorie was born February 7, 1931 in Ansonia, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley and Cecil "Sarah" (Hughes) Wentworth.

Marjorie was an active member of Fort Caroline Presbterian church, was a long-time volunteer for Memorial Hospital, she enjoyed life, family members and many friends. She was always there to brighten the lives of others.

She is survived by her children: Helen Mank, Steven (Vicki) Gatewood, Teresa (Bob) Leonard, Michael (Mary) Gatewood; Her grandchildren: Christie, Cliff (Kerry), Delta, Ben, Nicole, Chris (Tiffany), Dalton, Hunter, Lillian; Her great grandchildren: Julianna, Madison, Trysten, Ayden, Jamie, Penelope; Her sister Betty Fletcher, a variety of nieces, nephews, ample friends and other loved ones.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin "Woody" Gatewood; Her parents, Stanley and Cecil "Sarah" Wentworth; Her brother, Robert; Her granddaughter, Julie Mank.

A celebration of Marjorie's life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11th at Fort Caroline Presbyterian Church, 3754 University Club Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32277.  Pastors Dr. David Imhoff and Roger Taylor will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to Arlington Community Services or Fort Caroline Presbyterian Church.
