Marlene Russ, age 65 passed away July 23, 2022 after being surrounded by family in her last days after a long health battle.

She was born April 14, 1957 to Robert & Clara Hardenbrook and lived her life in Jacksonville, FL.

Marlene was a beautiful soul with a caretaking spirit. She was the matriarch of her family and a nurturer to many. She was a dedicated mother and Granny to multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marlene's greatest loves were music and her family, but she also enjoyed quilting, embroidery, entertaining, and cooking. Her free-spirit and smile was contagious and brought life to any occasion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband of 30 years, Plese Russ, Jr., Brothers Paul and Johnny Hardenbrook, sister Deborah Parrish and grandson Dustin Lee Ames. She is survived by her children: Richard Russ, Ray Russ (Gina), Scott Mullins (Jenno), Robert Phillips, and Mary Albrecht(Tom). Grandchildren: Kenneth, Katelyn, Sarah, Ciarra, Desiray, Richard, Dakota, Dalton, Gaby, William, Wyatt, Ethan, Anabella, Gabriel, Sequoia, Paige, Alyssa, Ethan. And great-grandchildren: Ansley, Eli, Ryder, & Arlo.

A memorial service will be held for Marlene on Friday, August, 12th at Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:30am followed by services at 10:00am, and concluding with an inurnment at 11:00am.
