Obituary of Martha Arrington

Ms. Martha E. Arrington, 95, passed away quietly on August 4, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 1/2 years, Charles W. Arrington and sister Mary Jane Lannom. She is survived by her brother William Aistrop of Phoenix, Arizona, his wife Dot and their two daughters Karen and Dianne. Ms. Arrington attended college at Harris Teacher's College, in St. Louis Missouri, where she received her bachelors of education. Following graduation she was hired by J.C. Penney himself to work in one of the Kansas City, Missouri, J.C. Penney stores in the accounting department. Ms. Arrington retired from J.C. Penney's after 40 years. Ms. Arrington was also a 50 year member of Arlington United Methodist Church. Words will be expressed graveside on Friday, August 10, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Arlington Park Cemetary.
