Obituary of Martha Cumbee

Martha Estevez Cumbee passed away October 13, 2008 after a seven year battle with cancer. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Martha enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family. She was always taking care of everyone. She was also a devout catholic and had been a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for many many years. Martha is survived by a loving family including her husband of 29 years, T. Ronnie Cumbee; her daughter, Maria Pittman (James); her son, Eddie Mesa (Sharon); her son, Alex Mesa (Jackie); her stepson, Troy R. Cumbee II; her stepdaughter, Audri C. Jones (Chuck); her grandchildren, Dale Yarborough, Madison Pittman, Jamie Pittman, Christian Mesa, Joel Mesa, Antonio Mesa, Noah Mesa and Catherine Kiesler (Mitch); her great-grandchildren, Preston Jones, London Yarborough and Ethan Yarborough; her sister, Mirtha Jones (Greg); her nephew, Danny Smith and a host of loving friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 6-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road. Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Road North, on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:00am.
