Obituary of Martha Lahti
Martha Lillian Lahti, 97, a longtime resident of Jacksonville passed away May 3rd. She had lived in Midland, Texas for last eleven years to be close to her son and granddaughters.
She was born in Vidalia, Georgia on July 19th 1917 and retired from the H.R.S. and was a member of the Arlington Baptist Church. Martha was also a charter member of the Bold City Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.
She is survived by her son Gary Lahti, six granddaughters, one grandson and many great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Martha will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at 11:00am graveside in the Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Arlington Park Funeral Home.
