Obituary of Mary Andrews

Mary (Betty) Elizabeth Andrews, 74, entered into rest on May 5, 2011. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and sister. She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Kenneth Andrews; parents, Owen Judson Revels and Mary Magdalene Rodgers-Revels; and brother, Doyle Thomas Revels, Sr.; she is survived by her son, Scott Edward Andrews; sister, Anita McFarland; numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family. Betty served in the United States Air Force and then went on to work for the State of Florida. She spent many years with data communications and retired from the department of social security disability. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida from6-8:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida at 11:30am. Family requests that donations be made to Women In Military Services for America Memorial Foundation Inc., Department 560, Washington, D.C. 20042-0560, of which Betty was a charter member and an organization which she held dear to her heart. Her family would like to thank all of her friends for their love and support through the last years.
