Obituary of Mary Barker
Mary Ann Barker, 63, passed away early Monday mourning October 1, 2007. She is remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father Herbert Schmaeling.
Mary was a long time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she was an aid to the after school daycare, which was very meaningful to her in her life.
She is survived by her loving husband Jerry T. Barker of 39 wonderful years; daughter Mary Alice (Delmar) Stewart; son Richard Barker; grandchildren Delmar III, Jonathan, Logan; her mother Alice Schmaeling and brother Herby Schmaeling.
Family would like to invite friends to Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Friday, October 5, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m., and a funeral service on Saturday October 6, 2007 at 12 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11665 Fort Caroline Road. Interment will follow.
