Mary Gertrude Coulombe, 88 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2025 at HCA Memorial Hospital, where she was surrounded by her immediate family. She was born on October 3rd, 1936, in Berlin, New Hampshire the daughter of Antoine Cote and Mary Jean Fontaine. Was raised by Albert and Emilienne Turcotte from the age of 3 years old.

She married Joseph Russell Coulombe on September 28th, 1958 in Berlin, New Hampshire. Gertrude was a devout wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, family was everything to her. She loved cooking and getting together with her family. She was wonderful at playing piano, singing, and crocheting. She was a dedicated worker who retired at 71 years old for the University of North Florida.

She is survived by 3 daughters Colette (Glen) Kinder of St. Augustine, Karen Raynor of Jacksonville Florida, and Renee (Wayne) Rexrode of Ocala Florida. 3 grandchildren James (Emily) Kinder of Middleburg Florida, Vanessa (Jason) Reffner of Jacksonville Florida, and Justin Shepard of Jacksonville Florida. 3 great grandchildren Athena Kinder, Raelynn Reffner, and Joseph Kinder. She was preceded in death by her siblings John Cote, Pauline Lavoie, and Omer Cote. She will be greatly missed, as she was a beautiful and kind person to anyone she knew.

A service will be held at 2pm on January 24th, 2025 at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville Florida 32211.
