Obituary of Mary Dye

Mary Frances Dye, 88, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Mary was born in Norfolk, VA. on June 17, 1919 to the late Joseph and Emma DuRant.She is preceded in death by her son James F. Dye and brother Jack C. DuRant.Mary was a lifetime member of Terry Parker Baptist Church.She is survived by her two sons William Earl Dye and Thomas Walter (Virginia) Dye of Jacksonville, FL.; sisters Bernice Smith of IL, Jean Seaton of Orlando, FL., Sally Stout of Merrit Isl.; brother Bud Durant of Astabula, FL.; daughterin-law Doris Dye and numerous grandsons and granddaughters. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. and a funeral service on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow
