Obituary of Mary Horton

Mary L. Horton, native of Jacksonville Florida, died the 10th of March, 2009, in Jacksonville. She passed on quietly in her sleep, in the loving arms of her family, at her son Gary's home. She is at peace in the company of her husband, her eldest son, and her parents, and is now sound in both body and mind. She was the beloved wife of W. E. Horton Jr. (dec), and the loved and loving mother of Michael (dec) and Jennifer, Dianne, Gary and Patricia, Marguerite and Robert, Susan and John, and Amy, and the sister of Betty. She leaves behind her 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces. She will be greatly missed, as the kindest, gentlest person we have ever known. The Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, on March 21, 2009 at Geneva Presbyterian Church, 1755 State Road 13, Fruit Cove, FL, and will be officiated by Rev. Jennifer Horton.
