Mary Olene Lockwood, also known as Rosebud the Clown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29, 2025. Olene was born on June 3, 1936 to George Thomas Williams and Josephine Martin Williams in Bacon County, GA. She was a resident of Jacksonville, FL and an active member of Englewood Christian Church. Olene married the love of her life, Paul, on February 14, 1958 and they were married for 53 years. She was preceded death by her husband, Paul, her son, John, her daughter, Glenda Guinn, her brother, John, and sisters Geraldine, Nova, and Ollie.

Olene is survived by her step brother, Fred VonEsche (Caroline), her daughter in law, Nancy, two grandchildren, Jamie Hambrick (Nick), and Kristen Curington (Ross), six  great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Olene is further survived by her "bonus daughter," Faye Coker (Earl), whom she loved and cherished as her own.

Olene was a member of Gator Clowns of Jacksonville and performed many volunteer activities as  Rosebud the Clown. She and her husband,  also known as Gopher the Clown, worked for over 40 years holding birthday parties and numerous charitable functions.

Visitation will be held at Englewood Christian Church, 4316 Barnes Road South, Jacksonville FL at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, to be followed by the funeral service at 10:45 AM, which will be officiated by Senior Pastor Pete Ramsey. Interment will take place at Arlington Memorial Park, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL.
