Obituary of Mary Manly
Mary Kai Manly, 48, passed away September 7, 2011. She was born in Jacksonville , FL to the late Robin H. and Christine E. Manly, graduating from Terry Parker High School . Mary Kai was a free spirit who loved crafting and garage sales. She loved nature, especially walking on the beach and was a master at spotting shark's teeth. She was an upholstery seamstress by trade and worked at Bold City Interiors with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Rutledge (John) and her three grandchildren, Chandler , Ethan, and Jayde. She also leaves to mourn, her sister, Peggy Ellis, and brothers, John Walker (Pat) and Robbin Manly (Kay) and her "partners in crime", Jerry, Rob, and Chris Ellis, her beloved Aunt Myra, her special friend Chris McKay, and numerous relatives. Mary Kai wanted no viewing or services. Instead, she wished to be cremated and her ashes scattered at the beach and over her parent's graves. Mary- we love you. You will stay in our hearts until we meet again.
