Mary Pickett, 90 years old, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. She was born Mary Francis Miller on November 23, 1934, in Wallins Creek, Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert Pickett, their son, Glenn Pickett, and her granddaughter, Mary Francis Pickett.  She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Petersen, her sister, Georgia Boggs, her 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.

Mary (Mammaw) followed the Lord her entire life, from singing with her sisters in church as a child to raising her family to be Christians.  She had a successful career in customer service, soaring to management roles, which was rare for women during those times.  In her lifetime, she enjoyed cooking, crafting, and making ceramics; loved watching football/basketball, and listening to country and gospel quartet music.  Mary was quick-witted with a sweet Kentucky accent that everyone loved, and had such a generous nature; no one ever left her house hungry or empty-handed. Her loving, kind, caring ways will stay in our hearts forever as she watches over us from Heaven.

Mary's Celebration of Life will be a Graveside service on Wednesday, October 22nd, at Arlington Park Memorial Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Terry Collins.
