Obituary of Mary Prescott

Mary Algerine Prescott of Jacksonville, FL, went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2012. Mary was born in Denton, GA on October 24, 1922 to John and Ada Hester. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Hance Leroy Prescott. She is survived by her brother, Luther Hester; sister, Ida Harbin; three children, Johnny Caves (Shirley), Melcene Beasley (Tommy), and Faye Peeples (Michael); 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6-8:00pm. A home-going service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00Am at Harvest Baptist Church, 1051 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, Florida with the committal service immediately after at Arlington Park Cemetery.
