Obituary of Mary Stalvey

Mary Audrey Stalvey, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was born in Valdosta, GA to the late Ealey and Mary Hightower. Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband William F. Stalvey of 43 years. Faith Baptist was her home church for over 20 years were she was a nursery superintendent. Her membership is now at Terry Parker Baptist Church. She retired from Swishers after 30 years of service. Mary is survived by her daughter Juanell (Ron) LaRue; granddaughter Natalie Copeman; by marriage grandson David LaRue and granddaughter Ann (Bill) Logan; great-grandchildren Nicole, Christine, Jason, Marissa, Riley; great-great grandchildren Kaylen, Ashlen, Landon and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation from 11:00am to 11:30am and a funeral service to follow at 11:30am on Thursday, February 23, 2012. Interment will follow. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and also to thank Community Hospice of Northeast Florida for their help and support.
