Mary Jimma Walters, 73, of Jacksonville, Florida passed peacefully on October 5, 2022.  Mary Jimma was born on February 25, 1949 to Dale and Mattie Walters in Lumber City, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Roderick Walters, and her great aunt, Frankie Copeland and great uncle, Woodrow Copeland of Jacksonville.
Mary Jimma is survived by her adoring son, Tyler Salter. She was a devoted sister to Donna Walters Kenna, Toni Walters LaBruzza, and sister-n-law, Marilyn Walters. Mary Jimma was a beloved aunt to Bradley Todd Wilkinson, Tracey Sparks, April Hatcher, Timothy Wilkinson, Kelly Robinson, Jason Walters, Adrienne Giddens, Keri Lambert, Krystal Perry and 15 great nieces and nephews. Mary Jimma Walters was the Owner & Operator and beautician  for several hair salons in her lifetime. She was loved and respected by many friends around the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beaches areas. Mary Jimma had the unique talent of making lifetime friends and making everyone feel cherished.
