Obituary of Matthew Wingate

Matthew Garrett Wingate, 41, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2010. A native of Jacksonville he was born to Betty and Waldo Wingate on June 10, 1969. He is remembered as a loving father, son, brother, husband, and friend. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He adored nature and being outdoors. He had many hobbies including gardening, camping and model crafting. Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Waldo Wingate. He is survived by his wife of nearly eight years, Kathy; mother Betty Wingate; brothers, Fred and Stuart; sister, Patti; sons, Matt Jr. and Trevor Wingate. Family would like to invite friends on Monday, November 22, 2010 to Parkwood Baptist Church, 7900 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL from 10-11:00am with his funeral to start at 11:00 am. Committal will follow immediately at Arlington Park Cemetery.
