Michael John Carroll, 63, born February 7, 1954 in Elgin, Illinois, passed away February 7, 2017.

He was a devoted husband, daddy, grandpa and caring friend to all who knew him. He has been a long time resident of Jacksonville, FL since age 6
Michael went to Englewood high school. He worked minor jobs before he started in the automotive industry for 20+ years. He retired in 2007. Mike always enjoyed helping friends with their cars. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, hunting, nascar, golf, weekend getaways, vacations and family time

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Donald Raymond Carroll and Margaret Hearn Carroll; In laws Ronald and Barbara LeGasse; sister in law Cheryl Hylton

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Crystal Carroll; children Lindsey Carroll, Whitney Drummond (Ciara), Ronald "Ronnie" Carroll (Jamie); grandson Oliver Carroll; siblings Kate Hartley (David), Maggie Judah (John), Bitsy Whitworth (Roger), Patrick Carroll, Timothy Carroll (Joann), Angel Horton (Phil Alred); sister in laws Rhonda Satterfield and Melody LeGasse. Along with many nieces, nephews ,extended family and his beloved dog Toby
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 4:30PM in the Arlington Park Chapel. A Service will follow at 6:00PM.
