Obituary of Michael Gaynor
Michael (Mickey) Joseph Gaynor, 73, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2009. He was born in Marlboro, Mass. On September 28, 1935, to the late Thomas and Laura (Burhoe) Gaynor Sr. Mickey is preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-four years Claudette A. Gaynor and also brothers James, Thomas Junior; sisters Lauramae, Jeanette, Ann. He is survived by his brothers Jack (Marlboro Mass.), Robert (Auburn, Mass); sister Dot (Malone N.Y.) and very special friend Vearnease Kinsey; daughter Michelle (Steve) Lundy; sons Paul (Missy) Gaynor, Jeffrey (Debbie) Gaynor, eleven grandchildren, Tiffany, Paul Jr., Casie, Jennifer, Courtney, Lindsey, Colby, Caitlyn, Cristyn, Emily and Allison. Mickey served in the Army during the Korean War, also was as an Electrician for United States Gypsum Company for twenty-two years as a supervisor; he loved teaching people to golf and organizing golf outings. He is also a member and past Sergeant at Arms with the American Legion and Governor of Moose Lodge since 1957. Family would like to invite friends to Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville Florida 32211, for a visitation on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a funeral service on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow.
