Michael Franklin McDonald, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was 64. Mike was born November 5, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Robert and Barbara (Livingston) McDonald.

Mike was a member of IBEW Local Union 177 and worked his entire adult life as an electrician. In his spare time he loved to fish, and was an active member of the Florida Shark Club in the 1970's-1980's. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his son, Andrew McDonald (Marion) of St. Augustine, FL, and his daughter, Christy Hyslop (Adam) of Jacksonville, FL as well as his sister, Barbara Newman; his sister-in-law, Linda McDonald; three grandchildren, and two nieces, all of Jacksonville.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert L. McDonald.

Memorial services will be held Saturday November 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Duval Lodge #159
2620 Dean Road, Jacksonville, FL. 32216.
