Mike Shevada, 89, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, June 3, 2018 in Crescent City, Florida. He was born in Osage, West Virginia to Kazmer Przywara and Elizabeth Uchman on April 10, 1929. Mike retired 26 years ago from the heating and A/C company he owned. All through his life he enjoyed dancing, fishing, gardening and being outdoors with his friends and family. Mike prided himself in his relationships with his customers whom he considered friends. He was always willing to help anyone who needed him. He was actively involved with his church and the Knights of Columbus until health issues made attending too difficult. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, and 1 brother.

He is survived by; his loving wife of 64 years, Louise Shevada, three sons Tom (Shirley) John (Laura) Steven (Diana) his three grandchildren  Taylor (Asher), Zachary, and Krystal (John), his 2 sisters, Elizabeth Osecky and Margaret Kostak  and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, from 6pm to 8pm in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.  A mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd N., Jacksonville, FL 32277 with Father Peter Akin-Otiko officiating.  Internment will immediately following the service at Arlington Park Cemetery.
