Obituary of Mildred Boyer

Mildred Christine Boyer, 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Mildred was born in Snow Hill, NC, on December 9, 1933, to the late Richard and Blanche Moore.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Glenn Boyer of several wonderful years; sons Richard and David Meekins. She was a devoted Christian. Mildred is survived by her son Robert (Margaret) Meekins Jr. of Cooper City, FL; daughter Annette (Eric) Turner of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Laura, Danielle, Mary, Jennifer, Emily, Crystal, Kimberly, Christy; great-grandchildren Jamie, Chase; brothers James (Mickey) Moore of Jacksonville, FL, Bobby (Joanne) Moore of North Carolina, Bill (Joyce) Moore of North Carolina and sister Donna (JB) Jo Ellis of North Carolina.

Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, on Saturday December 22, 2007 for a visitation at 10:00 am and a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
