Myrtle E. Hutchens, 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008. She is remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Myrtle was born on July 16, 1928 in Jacksonville, FL., to the late General and Roberta Hambrick.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Judge T. Hutchens; son Thomas Dean; daughter Barbara Lynn Hall; brother Bill Hambrick.
Myrtle is survived by her son Darryle K. (Cindy) Hutchens; daughter Jannet E. Hutchens; grandchildren Lorri, Tina, Wendy, Tammy, Scott, Billy, Bettina, Cristy, D.J.; sister Annie Earl; son-in-law Bill Hall, along with several great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, on Monday, January 14, 2008 for a visitation from 6p.m. to 8p.m. and a funeral service on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to North East Florida Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
