Nancy Brannon, age 94, passed away September 14, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida.  Mrs. Brannon was born March 24, 1924 in Washington D.C., to Maria and Joseph Pappalardo.  She was one of nine children, having four brothers and four sisters.

Nan (as she preferred to be called) and her late husband Gene, moved to Jacksonville in 1978.  They both were animal lovers and have rescued or adopted a number of dogs and cats over the years.  They were supporters of the Jacksonville Humane Society and also did volunteer work for the American Cancer Society.

Nan enjoyed gardening and always shared greetings with her neighbors as she tended her plants and flowers.

She is survived by her twin sister Rosemary Buckingham and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
