Nancy Gregory Burris, age 73, passed away peacefully at home in Jacksonville, FL, on December 26, 2020, after spending the Christmas holiday with her family. Nancy was born in Dearborn, MI, to Mural and Bernice (Abwender) Gregory. She grew up in Key West and proudly identified as a "Conch." Nancy graduated from Florida State University and found her calling teaching pre-K, with over 30 years in Duval County Public Schools. She laughed easily and often and was devoted to her children, grandchildren, friends, the Noles, the Jags, and pro wrestling.

Nancy is survived by her husband, David; children, Jeffrey, Meagan (Steven), and Cameron; grandchildren, Amaya and Clayton; sisters Linda (Jesse) and Marie; and beloved dog, Gracie.

Please join us celebrating her life Sunday, January 3 at 2 p.m. at Tree Hill Nature Center, 7152 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
