Nancy Estelle Hyde Grokett passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026 at the age of 101.

Nancy Estelle was born December 28, 1924 in Turin, Georgia. Later the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the 1970's she moved to Jacksonville, FL.

Nancy Estelle Hyde was married to Russell Albert Grokett for 35 years before her husband's passing in 1982.

Both husband and wife were "World War II" veterans.

Nancy Estelle was preceded in death her husband, Russell Grokett; grandson Michael Allen Knox.

Nancy Estelle is survived by daughter Nancy Kerry Grokett and son Russell Albert (wife Jan) Grokett Jr; grandchildren Kellie Anne Knox Swann (husband Bill) and Lisa Dawn Knox-Snodgrass (husband Kevin) Five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren .

Nancy Estelle was member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
