Obituary of Nancy Hook

HOOK, Nancy Martha, born January 19, 1949, to Fred and Anne Hook in Kearny, New Jersey went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 9/24/15, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the fifth of seven children. She worked at Prudential for 35 plus years.

She was dearly loved by all and will live in our hearts and memories forever until we meet again in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Anne, Sister Barbara, Brother-in-law Phil Blackburn and Nephew Chris Hook. She is survived by sisters Pat Hook, Linda Blackburn, Susan Staton, Carol Hook, brother Bill Hook, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and Aunt Betty Hanson. Nancy loved her Bulldogs Bogey and Ike. Her pound cake was a family favorite. She enjoyed vacationing at Disney World, reading, was a history buff, loved playing trivial pursuit and always won. Most of all Nancy loved being Aunt Nancy and Na-Na to all the children in the family. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home, 11 AM, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 with Rev. Al Hicks officiating. A private burial will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
