Obituary of Nancy Goodale

Nancy Louise Lewis Goodale, 80, went home to be with her heavenly Father on February 9, 2013. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was born on December 27, 1932 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Godfrey and Sarah Lewis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emerson John Goodale, infant son and son, David E. Goodale and brother, Ray Lewis. She is survived by her children, Sally L. Goodale, Julee (Arthur) Goodale Elkins and Mark (Roseann) Goodale, grandchildren, Amy, Jessica, Jennifer, Denton, Joshua, Travis, Gilland, Adreann, Nathan and Sierra; seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, brothers, Roy and Rob Lewis and many treasured friends. Nancy was a founding member of Faith United Methodist Church, a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star 292, a past Regent of The Moose Lodge 442 and a member of Ladies of the Shrine and Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed being involved with the Red Hat Society and above all she loved being with her family. Her family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6-8pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend David Preston officiating.
