Obituary of Nancy Russell

Nancy L. Russell went home to be with Jesus on September 28, 2008. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 marvelous years, Carl H. Russell; four wonderful children; Claude Russell, William Russell, Ann Watson, and Rodrick Kimbrough; seven cherished grandchildren; John Russell, Laurel Russell, Lacey Russell, Joshua Russell, Troy Parker, Brent Parker, and Scott Parker; eleven adored great-grandchildren; and numerous supportive friends. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God since 1973 and lived for the Lord. She was passionate for the Christmas season as she was featured in the Times Union for her exceptional decorating skills. She had many hobbies in which she put her heart into, including, cooking, for which she had many recipes published in various cookbooks and in the Times Union, collecting antiques, and angel figurines. She loved her flowers, plants and Gardening. Those who knew her were truly blessed. She will be greatly missed by all of the lives she touched in her short 77 years. Visitation will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, October 2, 2008 form 6-8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Southside Assembly of God, 2118 Kings Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida at 2:00 pm. Family will receive friends following the graveside committal at Southside Assembly of God.
