Obituary of Naomi Lewandowski

Naomi Agnes Lewandowski passed away April 11, 2008 to be with her beloved husband Joe. She was born in Long Island, Bahamas on July 28, 1928. Her parents came to the United States through Ellis Island along with Naomi when she was one. They resided in Yonkers, NY where she attended Yonkers schools and retired from Travelers Insurance.

Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, William and Miriam Darville, sisters Mallory (twin); Jeanette Ciralli and Gloria Coughlin. She is survived by her children, Laura Petris, Joseph Lewandowsi (Dawn), David Lewandowski, Karen Holton (Steve) and her grandchildren, Christine West (Corky), Stephanie Gubbini (Jeremy), Philip Petris, Melanie and Kyle Holton. Danielle Lewandowski, Kelly and Eric Lewandowski and great grandson, Cameron Lee West and her brother Charles Darville (June), and sisters, Betsy Moore and Ronnie O'Brien (John) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Naomi was loved by all who knew her and she will be sadly missed.



Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6720 Lone Star Rd, for a visitation from 9-11 am on Saturday, April 19, 2008 and a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.
