Obituary of Norma Pylant

Norma Pylant, 85, passed away September 17, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born March 17, 1924 in Atlanta, Georgia and has been a resident of Jacksonville for over 60 years. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James S. Pylant, Jr. Survivors include her son, Stuart Pylant and his wife Jane; daughter, Alicia Jimenez and her husband Billy; grandchildren, Kristen Willingham of Tampa, Dawn Luke and Joshua Jimenez both of Jacksonville; one great granddaughter and a loving extended family and dear friends. Services to celebrate Norma's life will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00. Norma will be laid to rest next to her husband in Arlington Park Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
