Obituary of Norman Compton

Norman L. Compton "Jay",55, passed away on April 20, 2007. He was born in Winchester, Virginia on September 2, 1951. Jay worked with the State of Florida at the Sunland Training Centers in Gainesville and Orlando, at University Hospital, he also worked in emergency room registration at Shands. In 1986 he moved to Eustis, Florida where he worked with Circle K for 10 years, he moved back to Jacksonville and worked with the Kangaroo Corporation, working at the store on Prichard Road. Jay is preceded in death by his parents, George N. Compton and Dora Mae Wellman. He leaves to cherish his memory his best family friend and confidant, Mike Argento, all of his friends, employees and customers ar Kangaroo who will miss him dearly as well as all of his adopted pets. Jay was a big animal lover and a kind and loving soul who helped anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
