Pamela Page Wilson Simpson, only child of Howard R. and Mildred P. Wilson passed away on Monday December 17, 2018.  She was 69 years old.  Born in Jacksonville, Florida and reared in Brunswick, Georgia, she participated in the Order of Rainbow Girls and graduated from Glynn Academy. Pamela belonged to several school clubs and developed her loyalty and love for the Georgia Bulldogs during her high school years  This loyalty lasted throughout her life even though she received a Masters Degree in Criminology and Corrections from Florida State University.

Pamela was first employed for 10 years with the Probation and Parole Commission where she became the first female supervisor in this Circuit. She then accepted the position of Director of the newly formed Domestic Violence Unit under the direction of Ed Austin at the State Attorney's Office.  She also served as the Director of Paralegals for several diversion programs during her 34 years of service.

Pamela attended the Arlington Congregational Church and served as a Fellowship Leader and usher.  She was also active in the Red Hat Society.  In her spare time she loved to crochet and embellish denim shirts for SEC teams.

Pamela leaves behind her beloved son Ronald Kevin Simpson, her best friend and companion Bill Morris, and cousin LaJuana Modling.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Blvd N, Jacksonville, Florida.  Pamela's family will begin greeting guests at 11:00 am.  Reverend Dr.  Bruce Havens will officiate.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida, (904) 724-6384.
