Obituary of Paul Barkley

Mr. Paul Douglas Barkley, 67, entered into rest on July 10, 2013. He is remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born on December 10, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI to the late John and Helen Barkley. He is a veteran of the US Navy, having served on the first cruise of the John F. Kennedy. He enjoyed traveling, train trips through Canada, Disney World and above all he treasured his building adventures in Lego's with his grandsons. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Carol Barkley. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn and Diana; grandsons, Paul II, Dan Jr., Brady, Donovan, Matthew, Joshua, Connor and Logan; brother, Robert; sister, Patricia and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from1-3:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. A graveside service will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery at 3:00pm.
