Obituary of Peter Nash

Peter J. Nash (Pete), 79, passed away December 29, 2008. Mr. Nash was born in Pittsfield, MA where he lived for many years and he proudly served his country with the Army Air Corps during the Korean War. Mr Nash moved to Baltimore, MD and retired from the Conoco Company after which he moved to Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Nash's wife Jean (Virginia) Purkey preceded him in death as well as his son Gregg of Pittsfield, MA. He is survived by four children in Pittsfield, Denise, Nadine, Kathy and Tom; four grandchildren, Grayson, Liam and Jason of Pittsfield, MA and Andrew of Baltimore, MD; his brothers Paul, John, Denis and Michael L and his sister Mary Jo; nieces and nephews and many friends. There will be a Memorial Mass at Christ the King Chapel on Larkin Road at 10:00am on January 10, 2009 as well as a service in Baltimore, MD. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Ft.
