Rajendranauth “Joey” Samaroo, age 49,passed away on April 18,2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Guyana and later making Jacksonville his home, Joey lived a life marked by deep love, resilience, and an unwavering faith in God.

Joey was a proud father to his sons Elijah and Joshua, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his wife Dionne, who stood by him through life’s challenges and victories. Joey leaves behind his siblings Navin, Tasha, and Moshmie, who will forever hold his memory close.

Joey’s journey was not an easy one. He struggled with many obstacles life brought his way , but he fought hard and overcame it, a testament to his strength, his faith, and his determination to rise above. His story was one of redemption, courage, and transformation.
