Obituary of Ralph Shaw

Shaw-Ralph C. Shaw, age 83, passed away on April 10, 2009 after a long battle with lung cancer. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father grandfather and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Vuna; sister Doshie Mason, 3 children, Ted (Lynette), Ken (Lynn) and Patricia Bass (William); 8 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Ralph honorably served his country in the United States Army during WW II and was retired from the City of Jacksonville's Water Department. He also served as a deacon at 10th Street Baptist Church. Friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday April 12, 2009 from 6-8-p.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home 6920 Lone Star Road. Funeral services will be Monday April 13,2009 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
