Obituary of Rebecca Fields

Rebecca Jean Sims Fields, 76, died Monday, May 18th. Becky is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Dwight Lelon Fields. She was preceded in death by their son Harry Dale Milford. Becky is also survived by her daughter, Harriet Pate, son-in-law William and grandchildren Michelle Smith (Ken) and Jeremy Pate (Kelly); her daughter-in-law Wanda Milford and grandchildren Jason Milford (Christi) and great-grandson Dallen and granddaughter Laura Milford, her daughter Jennifer Rine, son-in-law Steve and grandson Emerson; her daughter Lynda Ilanlou and son-in-law Jimmy and grandson Spencer. She is also survived by her sisters Gay McLean of Laurinburg, NC and Johnnie Freeman of Rockingham, NC and many nieces and nephews.

Becky was an avid and talented gardener who shared her love with all around her. She was a long time member of Ft. Caroline United Methodist Church and for many years sang in the church choir. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. But above all that, she was a wonderful mother and a cherished wife. She made our lives happy and was dear to anyone who knew her. She is greatly missed, but is now with her Father in heaven.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 20th from 6:00-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home 6920 Lone Star Road. Funeral Service will be Friday, May 21st at 11:00am also at Arlington Park Funeral Home.
