Richard Edward Blyar passed away Thursday, July 22, 2022 with family by his side.

Born in Canton, Ohio on May 21, 1936 to the late Donald and Frances Blyar. Richard graduated from West Technical High School June 18, 1954 at the age of 18. He then moved to Cleveland Ohio to work. During this time Richard kept in contact with Carol (writing letters), whom he had met while living briefly in South Florida. He and Carol were married March 9, 1957.

Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. He is survived by sons Richard, David (Lili) and daughters Tracy and Barbara. He was also the proud grandfather to Melissa, Melanie, Kristin, Jacquelyn, Brian, Kathryn, Lauren, Esteban, Sofia, Gabby and Great-Grandfather to Sydney, Jacob, Noelle, Ellie Jane, Grayson and Conor.

Richard was an Electronic Technician by trade but was also a Master Craftsman and all around Handyman. Many of his family members and neighbors have been blessed with his handiwork. Richard was dedicated to his family and always there to help friends and family with household projects. Richard will truly be missed by all.
