IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard Lennon
Foxworth
September 29, 1973 – May 15, 2020
Richard Lennon Foxworth ~ named after a legend, he left this world a legend. Ric was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Tara. He was a dedicated father, so proud of his two children, Nathaniel and Olivia. Ric dearly loved and cherished his dad and bonus mom, many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and innumerable friends. He is now reunited with his precious son, his best friend and mentor, his free-spirited momma and his sweet granny & papa.
Ric spent his time on earth leading by example. He was a cherished friend to everyone; he had an uncanny ability to love unconditionally. Ric had many passions. Always smiling, he had a quick wit and a lovable boyish immaturity balanced with a cool and fashionable confidence. Ric worked hard for all of his accomplishments, of which there are many. He was instrumental in building multiple successful businesses including: Oceanway School of Dance with his wife, and a Real Estate business with his sister and partner-in-shenanigans. Ric lovingly mentored and taught music to children. He was an accomplished songwriter and musician.
Words cannot express the way he touched the lives of so many. It has been said, "You didn't know Ric Foxworth. You experienced Ric Foxworth." For those lucky enough to experience the joy, coolness, and kindness that he brought to the world, he will be missed. I simply leave you with his words. His song. His legacy. Farewell Good and Faithful Servant. You have served him well. Much Love. Ric Foxx ~ September 29, 1973 - May 15, 2020
Leap Frog and Field of Dreams
This life is not what I thought it be
If I could turn back the hand of time
I'd do anything
First kiss at the junior high dance
I miss the touch of my grandmother's hands
If I could turn back the hand of time
I wouldn't change a thing
What I wouldn't do
To have another day with you
What I wouldn't say
If you were here with me today
You're hiding
And I'm seeking
And we long to be free
In this field of dreams
You go high
And I'll stay low
For awhile
Till we meet in this field of dreams
The last chance to join on this dance
I've left behind too many friends
And what I wouldn't do
To spend all my life with you
And what I wouldn't do
To surrender my life to you
I'm running
Your laughing
We'll fly then well crash
Into a field of dreams
You go high
And I'll stay low
And we'll go with the flow
Into the field of dreams
The further you fall in love
The harder it is to let go
And when your hearts been broken
It's easy to lose hope
Now I pray
Myself to sleep
It brings me crashing
To my knees
We'll rise and we'll fall
And we'll deal with the call
My love is all that you need
In this field of dreams
The light from the sun
Shines down cause we're one
The time is now come
We live free in the Field of Dreams
