Richard Hebert Kantin, 92, was born November 22, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Herbert Kantin and Annette Bublitz Kantin.  He was born November 22, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 in at Woodland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, FL under hospice care.  Growing up in Wisconsin he enjoyed going to the lakes, fishing with his cousins, hunting pheasants and working on his car.  After high school he worked in a sporting goods department and married, Audrey in a Lutheran Church filled with family and friends.  Richard learned the Butcher trade business from his father-in-law at the Center Meat Market in Chilton, WI. He went on working in the meat industry for 44 years.  Richard and Audrey relocated to Jacksonville, FL 1975.

He is proceeded in death by both parents (Wisconsin); wonderful wife of 68 years, Audrey Schmidt Kantin.

Richard is survived by daughters, Pamela Kantin of Jacksonville, FL, Peggy Kantin of Kansas; grandchildren, Robin Kantin, Tony Kantin (Elisa); great granddaughter, Sydney Kantin and many wonderful friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 3, 2020 at 10am in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 3221 followed by a service at 11am Reverend William Reister officiating.  Richard will be laid to rest next to Audrey in the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211 later that day.
