Obituary of Rita Butzirus

Rita Higgins Butzirus, 78, passed away on June 9, 2009. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a member of Christ the King church and for many years has been involved with St. Vincent DePaul Society and CKCW. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Ann Butzirus. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 58 wonderful years, Mr. Russ Butzirus; son, Rob (Kimberly) Butzirus; daughter, Beckie (Brent) Munson; grandchildren, Lindsey (Cody) Allard, Kirsten N. Butzirus, Christopher A. Munson, Erin E. Munson, and Robbie Jo Butzirus; great grandchildren, Dominic and Vincent Allard; brother William T. (Mary) Higgins; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. Family will receive friends, Friday, June 12, 2009 from 6-8:00 pm with a rosary to be held at 7:00 pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at 2:00 pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, FL.
